1912-15c. Dayton Fan and Motor Company, Dayton, OH., U.S.A., 60” Antique Ceiling Fan, Antique Ceiling Fan, Oxidized Satin Nickel Finish, Two Blade
The Dayton Fan and Motor Company manufactured this model with several slight variations through its production run. Most notably, they used several variations of blade brackets while keeping the original ornamental styling of the motor housing the same. The massive motor on this fan pushes its 60" blade span with ease making this model the ideal candidate for a large interior space.
The 60" Dayton has a distinctive ornamental styling that will complement many interior decors including Victorian, Arts and Crafts or Bungalows.
The featured Dayton was custom restored for a classic New York City Brownstone home. Vintage Fans® converted an original four blade fan to our popular two blade version that duplicates the rarely seen two blade variety of this model. This particular 60” Dayton ceiling fan also received our custom fabricated two light “electrolier” for a period correct touch. Both the fan’s motor and electrolier were finished in oxidized satin nickel with solid mahogany blades handcrafted from milled solid wood planks and calibrated to original specifications from our original templates.
